UCAS points are awarded depending on the grade(s) you receive for your qualifications.
The UCAS points system is often used by universities for their entry requirements, although some may display grades instead. You get UCAS points on the successful completion of your qualification.
Universities may still consider qualifications which are not included in the points system, so always check entry requirements for the course you are interested in.
