We’re making it easier than ever to let us know when a student will be absent.
From Monday 8 September 2025, students and parents can report absences quickly and easily using our new self-service options.
What’s new?
You can now report an absence by:
- Calling 0800 612 6008 and following the automated phone system
- Using the chatbot on our website (available 24/7)
You’ll be asked to confirm some personal details and give the reason for the absence. Once submitted, the information goes straight into our system so teachers and staff are informed right away.
Still want to speak to someone?
That’s absolutely fine! If you’d prefer to talk to an adviser, you can still do that. Just choose the option when calling, or request it via the chatbot, and you will be put through to an adviser (only available Monday to Friday, between 8.30am and 4pm).
Safe and secure
If the information doesn’t match our records, or if there’s a possible safeguarding concern, a member of our team will follow up with you within 30 minutes to make sure everything is okay.
