This programme will give you a broad introduction to the Level 3 T Level in Business. You will have the opportunity to learn through technical knowledge and industry-relevant practical skills. You will be introduced to all aspects of business development and finance.
You will also have the opportunity to study and gain qualifications in English and Digital Skills to help you progress to the next level of study or employment.
The contextualisation of maths, English and Digital Skills is designed to aid you in understanding their relevance to industry in your future experience.
Work experience is an essential part of this programme and will help you to develop the attitudes needed for work in the sector.
What you'll learn
This is comprised of four units that you will study throughout the year:
- The Business Enterprise Environment
- Researching a Concept for a New or Revised Product or Service
- Promoting and Financing and Enterprise Idea
- Planning and Pitching an Enterprise Idea
How you'll learn and be assessed
Progression
After successful completion of this course, you could progress to a relevant Level 3 course, such as the Business BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary/ Extended Diplomas, T-Level in Business and Administration, or direct entry into employment in a business environment in a supervisory or trainee management post, or an apprenticeship.
Entry requirements
You will need to have 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and maths.
